WORKSHOP: This social experiment will gather participants weekly to give connection challenges and cultivate experiences to make you feel like a more balanced, magical human capable of being the good you’d like to see in this world. Weekly meetups with creative endeavors, meaningful conversation, secret oaths, gentle vulnerability and story sharing, and homework that’s part of the journey. This is a much sought-after and very exciting new step for The Nest Creative, a wing of our not-for-profit space that strives solely for uplifting community and daring ourselves to be better at life itself. This is not an improvisational/sketch/theatre course, but a self-care and world-work journey with a curated and developed curriculum for a closed number of participants.
Pre-Req: Level 1 Core Curriculum, or Stand-Up Clinic, or Storytelling Workshop – some introduction to Nest culture of entry classes is probably imperative to stepping in boldly to this experience – however, if you think you are up for this with an open-heart reach out to us for special permission at email@example.com before registering prior to selling out. This experience will be led primarily by professional performer, comic, professor, speaker, and artistic director Tara DeFrancisco; Additional curators may join a session. The Nest has sold out over 40+ sessions in a row of all of its programming over the course of 6 years, all designed solely by co-founders Tara + Rance.
The Nest is a registered Safe/Brave Space in the state of Ohio and we amplify underserved people in the arts, including BIPOC, LGBTIQ, PwD, those over 65, and Veterans.
